Hello!

New here and my partner and I are expecting our first child - only 6 weeks gone (but very excited!).

My partner has very bad hay fever and seems not to be able to use any medication. She's been given some very weak nasal spray.

Is there anything anyone could please recommend?

Thanks.Smile

Prevalin can be used in pregnancy -
I also found hay max balm really good to put under eyes and around the nose which seemed to trap pollen so stops it getting in eyes and up nostrils. I found my symptoms were much worse at night, so keeping windows shut during the day in the bedroom should help as well as a shower and clean clothes after being outside/before going to bed

That's brilliant, thanks a lot.

Is this one OK? Seems we can just buy it in Boots?

Saline nasal spray is a good shout. And I think you can take loratidine as well

Hay max helped me.

Asked the same question last week, and the results have been fab!

Prevalin plus is totally safe in pregnancy.
Haymax (from holland and Barrett) is great.
Still use my eye drops too.

Opticrom allergy eye drops too. Life saver.

You are allowed to use the steroid nasal sprays like beconase.
