Been a long time since I was last pregnant. I think I'm about 6 weeks along now so what do I need to do next? I seem to remember I don't need to see the doctor until I'm about 8 weeks - is that right?

Congratulations!! How exciting!!

Call your doctor's surgery and sort out a booking-in appointment with the mid-wife - in our area, this takes place between 6 and 8 weeks. Then see your doctor before the appointment - at least, our surgery like you to. Start taking folic acid/pg vitamins if you haven't already done so.

Thanks mumpbump! Will give docs a ring now!

Congratulations!! As mumpbump said phone yourt surgery to arrane the booking in appt. Start the folic acid asap. If you cant get an appt to get them off your GP, ASDA do them for £1.70 ish.

Enjoy the next 8 or so months.
