D&C

Had a D&C today. As an anxious person I am now totally freaking out. I have no pain, I have no discomfort and I have VERY little bleeding. I am now getting worked up that something is building up inside me and there is going to be a huge flood. Every time I stand up, I feel like the period sensation when stuff comes out but when I go to the toilet, there is nothing.

In my experience with d&c I had bleeding but it wasn't loads, it lasted over five days but by day five it was minimal - it never gushes out or anything like that, it's just like a period but less so even than that! Get yourself some rest and much needed you time and try not to worry (easier said than done I know) xxxx

I had next to no bleeding, and no pain after either of mine.

I had far less bleeding after mine than when i had the medical management. Less than a period certainly

No it's just what they call it now. Evacuation of retained product of conception. Lovely eh.

Yeah, d&c is the old term for it, it is now erpc and horrible what it stands for really!
I know you're not okay and probably in limbo right now but from experience, it gets easier to deal with, but so important you take time to rest and recover both physically and mentally.. you are number one at the minute and take as long as you need to rest and process everything - thoughts are with you xxxxx

I had no pain or minimal bleeding with mine either. Still take it easy though, sorry for your loss.
