Hi everyone , I'm 16+4 and for the past few weeks I've had quite a round bump, however the last few days I've had next to nothing! Tummy looks nearly flat again, I'm so scared something is wrong! Has anyone else had the same? Thank you.

I've not been pregnant but a friend got very bloated with wind initially which then eased off. Maybe check with a midwife to put your mind at rest?

The baby might have just moved into your back a bit more. I didn't show a bump until late on because he was tucked in. Please check with your midwife.

Under 16 weeks (presumably first baby) you won't of had a bump, it will of just been bloating the gasses and water making your tummy swell so it looks like a bump. you should get a little bump soon, my tummy muscles where so good and strong with my first I hardly had a bump, with my second no such luck. Be happy it's so much more comfortable not having a massive bump.

I waa so bloated before 16 weeks and then looked practically normal up until about 26 weeks when bump reappeared. Even now at 31 weeks I have days where I only have a small bump and other days where baby has his back against my belly and I look much bigger

Phone the midwife for advice if you're worried - babies don't just disappear so try not to worry it's probably what PP have said

I'm 29 weeks and sometimes I wake up and stomach looks so flat! Then an hour or so later baby has moved and I'm back to having a big bump, it's just where they're positioned inside :) it's definitely odd though!

Thank you for your advice everyone! Unfortunately cannot ring midwife and she just says to ring the hospital number in an emergency. Hoping my scan on Wednesday will be okay X

Another vote for bloating. I felt like I was carrying a ball for the first 3 or 4 months, then I felt much more empty and didn't have a proper bump until about 6 months.

Try not to worry. Enjoy feeling a bit more normal looking, I'm nearly 35 weeks now and look like a house Grin

That makes me feel better thank you!
