I will try to make this short
I am around 5 or 6 weeks pregnant
My HCG has only doubled every 4 Days since week 2
They finally confirmed gestational sac at what was measuring 5mm about 5 weeks ....from my dates I thought I was really around 4 weeks
They asked me back a week later
Gestational Sac has seen again but measuring only 5.2 weeks, but it was office ultrasound v.s hospital so diff machines.
They confirmed pregnancy but said since HCG is only doubling every 4 days and no real gestational sac growth or fetal pole or yolk found it is 99.9% not viable.
They also said it is most likely a scar pregnancy from the location.
They want to give me a full work up on Monday
then later that day give me methotrexate to stop placenta growth
I know it is a .0001% that this is viable.because of HCG that has only doubled every 4 days since week 2 and all else ..but I feel rushed and defeated....The doctor has been so nice even gave me cell ....but I am not ready to give up...but afraid of hemorrhage if I wait I can not find anything like my case online ....Please, any opinions stories and prayers some help please ....these have been very horrific weeks of waiting.

I really really feel for you. I'm in a similar situation at the moment, I'm currently in a hospital bed being monitored because it might be ectopic but they can't tell from the scan, but my hormones are moving up too slowly for it to be viable. I can say that this is my 6th miscarriage so although it's heartbreaking, the docs do know what they're talking about. My last one was a slow developer, even had a heartbeat for a couple of weeks, they told me it was growing to slow to be viable and they were right. Even this time I'm still hoping that there's a mistake and actually everything is fine but I know it's not.
I'm so sorry that you find yourself in this situation. If it's not ectopic or dangerous you can just let nature take its course but I can guarantee you it is just dragging out the pain. Sending you big big hugs xxx

Op you must have some reason why youve had so much early testing, have you had treatments or bleeding?
Regarding waiting, unless your at risk of something specific, of course you can wait. I had a scan at 8 weeks w my second pregnancy which showed it had stopped growing around 5/6 weeks. It was a definite miscarriage but I just waited another week and it started on it's own. It's entirely up to you. The only issues are 1. Potential for infection if it goes on too long and 2. Delays your cycle restarting.
Good luck xxx
