I had an early scan which put me from 8 weeks to 7 weeks. I have my 12 week scan coming up soon. I was wondering if any of you ladies also had an early scan and if it was accurate to the dates of your 12 week dating scan? I just don't know how i could have missed my dates by a whole week. I had an obvious period and I knew when I of ovulated. Thanks in advance xx

Yes my due date was brought forward by 5 days at the dating scan ;)

Yes I had a number of private scans and over the course of 12 weeks my date went back and forth by about 5-7days a number of times!! Apparently pretty common. Now 31weeks X

Try not to worry about it! It's so common, and just think, in the old days before scans women had to wait for 2 missed periods before anyone would even consider they might be pregnant! And then at the end, your baby just comes when it feels like it anyway ... between 38 & 42 weeks there's no betting.

I know it's crazy how they used to do it. I'm not worried, I'd say more curious (and impatient) Haha

With DS his due date moved forward at each of the scans I had before 12 weeks & again at the 12 week scan. Once you get to 12 week scan the date is fixed. When he was born, 2 weeks late according to revised due date, he was 98th centile for length so no one the date kept moving forward!

With this pregnancy I had an early scan which put my due date back a couple of days, baby was curled up so hard to measure. 12 week scan moved due date forward a few days ahead of original due date. Really hoping that this DC isn't on the same growth trajectory as it's big brother was!

With my first daughter, each scan I had they tweaked the bloody dates. She was.born on what I calculated to be her due date, and according to the doctors I was 42 weeks... with this current pregnancy have had the same tweaking of dates which I have chosen to ignore completely and go with what I know to be right x
