What was your dp's reaction to bfp?

I got my Sam baby cards through the other day and the first one is "the day we found out we were pregnant we celebrated by..."

Ours just makes me laugh so I wondered what other people stories were!

Just for fun! I'll go first.

I poas, got the shock of my life. We highfived and DH ran round our bedroom singing "supersperm!" (It was only our first month of trying!)

Obviously that should be sma baby cards!

Oh how did you get SMS baby cards? (Misses point😋)

I just signed up to the sma baby club and they turned up in the post. I didn't even know I would get them!

My dp knew I was pregnant before I'd done the test. He said I was acting differently, more weepy than normal. He went outside while I did the test and when I came down we looked at it together.
When I said "I'm pregnant" he was smiling and said "I'm going to be a daddy".
It makes me well up with happiness just thinking of it.

I got them the other day, you wanna hear what my dp said? X

I wrote him a Xmas Christmas card from myself and baby! His jaw hit the floor, he hugged me tight with a huge grin and burst out crying. I'll never forgot that moment -it still makes me smile remembering how happy he looked 10 weeks until we are due X

I finished work at 4am. Came home. Peed on a stick. Woke my husband at 5am whispering morning daddy... at 8:45 he was outside a pram shop ordering a pram.

Will never forget how proud he was.

He just kept telling me to wait a few more days and take another test. I think he was a bit it shock.

My partner of 5 weeks said 'I'm going for a walk' and then hung up and called me back 4 hours later. To be fair, we barely knew each other and I was told I couldn't have kids and we used protection.

Second time he bought the test. He said 'piss on this. You're bloody pregnant again. You keep throwing up everywhere'

OH insisted on 5 more tests and still hasn't quite gotten his head around it.... we found out this week and I'm still waiting for a lovely reaction as per PP! Think he might be in shock as it's our first month TTC!

He was the one to read the test. I wasn't expecting it to show a result so quickly so I was looking away. He saw the result come up and went "Oh my god, you're pregnant!" Then there was a lot of stupid grinning and hugging.
