Hi Ladies,

Don't suppose any of you have expereienced waking up during the night and moring with back pain and having stomach aches for a few hours afterwards? I'm 18w and it seems to get worse. I work in an office and am sat down for awhile at a time which doesn't help. Do you have any advise for me?

I have this and I'm 23 weeks. The only thing I've found helps is a hot water bottle (too paranoid to place it on bump but it helps my back) or getting husband to rub my back... he's learning the soft and gentle technique slowly!! 😂 At work I try and find excuses to stand up and move- I.e toilet, making coffee for others etc. Hope that helps a bit? It's definitely not pleasant. :/

Have you got a maternity pillow? Might help you position yourself in a more comfortable way

My dp bought me a maternity pillow and it's helped with back pain for sure! Keeps hips level when sleeping! I was getting stomach pains when I'd wake to between 20ish and 30ish weeks... this seems to have gone to (don't know if that's anything to do with pillow tho...?)
