I'm only six weeks in and can barely keep my eyes open! Not good when 18mth DS wants to play! How long does this go on for?

i know how you feel, am 6 weeks too and am soooooo tired. My kids are all at school now, so I can sleep during the day but if I don't for some reason, I am knackered by 7pm.

Glimmer · 20/03/2007 17:05

May I join the club? I am 6 weeks today and fall almost asleep at my computer. I am very happy since this is my only pg-symptom at the moment but don't know how to make it through the day... Interestingly, I wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep anymore. That definitely never happened before in my entire life.

Mumpbump · 20/03/2007 17:06

I'm 12 weeks and absolutely shattered today. Haven't been able to do any work as I'm too tired to concentrate so have just been posting on MN all day... Not good!!!

Rachpuk · 20/03/2007 17:06

I have to 4th that, I feel totally knackered in the evenings. I'm also 6 weeks. I'm lucky enough not to be working and have even had a few afternoon naps.

MrsBadger · 20/03/2007 17:18

gets better by 18wks

auntymandy · 20/03/2007 17:21

well I'm 26 weeks and still knackered. But I am old and have little ones that wake up early and big ones that nag all the time and need running here there and everywhere!

MrsBadger · 20/03/2007 17:22

I don't think pregancy has much bearing on your knackeredness levels then!

greedyforbabies · 20/03/2007 17:22

NotanOtter · 20/03/2007 17:23

greedyforbabies · 20/03/2007 17:29

PurpleLostPrincess · 23/03/2007 22:59

I just thought I'd post on here because I'm over the moon that I'm still awake at nearly 11pm - this is a record!!!!

YAY!!!!!

Just got to try and keep up a little longer then go to bed and hopefully sleep right through and have a lie in (DC's are at their Dads tonight!).

Eaglebird · 24/03/2007 10:31

Princess, I'm impressed
I'm 9+3 and have been really tired since even before I did my pg test.
The latest I've managed to stay awake 'til was 10:30pm. I'm either tucked up in bed by then, or dozing off on the settee.
Sometimes I also have to have an hour's nap when I get in from work, as I'm so shattered.
Was in bed by 10:30 last night, and had a lovely lie-in today & got up just before 9am (not including the usual trip to the toilet in the middle of the night), so I feel quite human today.
Hope this tiredness doesn't last for the duration

jersey · 25/03/2007 18:56

Me too!!!!!!!

Permenantley knackered and by afternoon could fall asleep on my feet, but can't as have a 2yrs, 8 month old and an 8 month old. Neither sleep through.

I,m 11 weeks +2.

imreadyforababy · 25/03/2007 19:34

OMG the tiredness is shocking - this is my first pregnancy and it has taken me by surprise. I have to say i have been quite lucky not had any other major symptoms been feeling sick but haven't been sick. I'm 11 weeks and praying that i start to glow soon lol.
