Hello everyone, I'm 9+6 currently with fingers crossed our first child and have never felt this nervous in my life wish I could just check to see how baby is doing in there! Took us a year to conceive I have PCOS but luckily didn't need meds in the end gave up hope without meds so was quite surprised ! I had a private scan at 6+3 and saw our tiny bean with a heartbeat and had our nhs one at 9+3 and everything looked good (at 9+3 because they wanted to go by my period dates which would've made me over 12 weeks) but going back in just over 2 weeks for our proper 12 week scan and screening tests ! I'm sooo nervous about mmc as my close friend had one at 10 weeks and can't bear the thought of getting to our 12 week or any scan and our little one not having a heartbeat Sad Anybody else as nervous as me or fancy giving me some positivity I'm driving my other half mad ! Would love to hear from some of you lovely ladies ! Grin

I'm unbelievably nervous. Im about 6 weeks and every time I have a little cramp,or back ache I'm straight to the loo to check everything is okay. It's he scariest time ever.

This is my first pregnancy and am addicted to this site already. I've found it so useful and supportive x

I had a mmc in my first pregnancy (found out at 12 wk scan but the little bean had died at 8wks) and now I'm technically 10wks 1day I am sooo worried! Had a private scan at 9wk and saw the little peanut moving around with a good heartbeat (183) and everything looking normal, but my symptoms suddenly stopped and can't work out if I should be worried!

SpringChicken26 · 08/06/2017 21:23

Fasbaby I haven't had much symptoms other than tiredness and nausea but my nausea has eased the last week that's worried me also ! That's amazing they didn't tell me the rate of the heartbeat at the scan I'm hoping it was ok ! I hope everything goes ok for you this time and you have a lovely 12 week scan !

Hey! Congrats on your pregnancy!

The anxiety for me was there at the beginning as it took me 8 years, failed fertility treatment and 2 early MC to get pregnant with my little miracle...I did calm down a little in the second tri but now I'm almost 36 weeks the anxiety is back and worse than ever! I think it's just a normal part of pregnancy - especially when it's taken time to get there.

The symptoms coming and going are normal and just another thing to freak out a little about (I know I did early on too) but chances are you and your little bean will be fine so try to enjoy those small times of respite and think positive :)

Hi! Yup total anxious wreck here too. This is my third baby, but I am far far more nervous than when I had DD/DS years ago (they are 7 and nearly 10). I think part of it is that this one was an unexpected pregnancy, we are happy but it's taken a lot of time to sink in and in a way I can't believe how lucky we are, I can't believe I could possibly be lucky enough to have a third healthy little one. I've had scans, heard the heartbeat, but I still keep thinking something is wrong.

I felt awfully sick 24/7 until recently and while I'm glad that's easing up I'm now finding it difficult because I've not got that physical reminder IYSWIM. I think I have felt wriggles (17 weeks so for a third pregnancy that's quite probable) but I'm really not sure.

It's so nerve wracking. I'm 11+1. Scan not till 19th June. First pregnancy had a MC at 10 weeks, 2nd I was totally panicky and had a private scan at 8 weeks and it was all fine. This time I thought I could relax as I knew that I had had a successful pregnancy with basically no symptoms but I'm becoming less confident every day.

Nostrilflare · 08/06/2017 23:28

It's a horrible feeling isn't it, so jealous of everyone who seems to have no concerns!

We have been trying for what feels like forever, last year I had a molar pregnancy removed in march - got the all clear in October, currently 5+5 - had cramps and bleeding, everything was fine on scan. Got just over a week of panic till the next scan!

Fingers crossed for healthy beans all round!

SpringChicken26 · 08/06/2017 23:43

Glad to see there's others that feel the same out there my other half thinks I'm literally the most nervous expectant mum out there but I don't think he's aware of how often things can go wrong but have to try and be positive ! Fingers crossed for healthy babies !

Thank you ladies. I hope you all have good scans and that the little beans are happy! I'm going to have a check up next week (can't wait until my NHS scan on the 30th!) so hopefully that'll show everything is progressing well.

@SpringChicken if you're in London, the Fetal Medicine Centre are amazing and they're a charity so all their fees go back into research. They gave me a really detailed scan and report and all the Drs are really lovely.
