Light cramping and bleeding at 5 weeks

Hi, I am 5 weeks pregnant and started bleeding about an hour ago. I had some mild cramping in my abdomen and then some cramping down my legs and then I went for a wee and found pink blood when I wiped. I am having on and off mild cramping and light bleeding (not showing on a pad, just really when I wipe). I'm assuming that this is a chemical pregnancy but does anyone have any experience or advice?

What did the early pregnancy unit say to you about it?

lisara79 · 07/06/2017 23:05

They asked me to come in because cramping and bleeding can be many things... unfortunately the urine test came back negative so they said it is extremely unlikely that I am still pregnant but they took bloods to check, I'll get those results tomorrow. The cramping and bleeding has picked up the pace now and hurts! They said that really, they had very little to go on because all they have is a negative pregnancy test... I tested positive yesterday morning which is why they are doing bloods as it's so early.
