Best Maternity Jeans?

The time is fast approaching when I'll have to admit defeat with my jeans! Which maternity jeans would you recommend? I'm a size 10 and usually wear straight or skinny fit - looking for something comfy that I won't keep having to hoik up all the time. What works for you? Thanks!

Following... 16 weeks and I'm into mat jeans already. Purchased a pair from jojo (skinny leg) and they just don't sit right around my crotch! Perfect everywhere else, so ended up spending the day pulling them up yesterday ! Need some better ones!

I bought a couple of pairs of over bump from asos. They're great. £20 each.

Super comfy and soft.

Oh Lord - I'm only 9 weeks! But to be fair, my existing jeans were a bit tight to start with and I just can't be faffed with that now! I'd been thinking that the over bump ones looked more comfy? Do they stay up better?

I found New Look over bump skinny jeggings the best. I was a size 10 pre-preg and used to live in skinny jeans! Didn't get on well with under bump ones.

Mine were H&M. Found them a great fit from about 18-20 weeks and good and stretchy for the last few weeks!

I loved Topshop Leigh under the bump jeans when I was pregnant with DS. They were so comfy & washed really well, stayed lovely & soft. However I lent them to DSil who has stretched them so much they now fall off me. I bought a pair of black H&M over the bump skinnies a couple of weeks ago & very impressed so far. Have just ordered a pair of their blue under bump ones to replace the Leigh jeans as not sure about over the bump as it gets warmer.

I've tried gap, H&M And Jo Jo abs they all fall down. Even at the end of pregnancy

Had some from next that were not bad. Wasn't that impressed with asos. But I have muscular legs and struggle to find jeans when I'm not pregnant.

The primark high waisted skinnies are really stretchy and come up well over the bump and don't shimmy down. I'm normally a 12/14 and have been wearing size 18. I've also got some George jeggings that are really comfy too

I like my new look over the bump jeans and also over bump leggings they fit really nice :)

I had grrat black over the bump skinnies from either matalan or peacocks.

Just order the size you normally wear if buying online. The over the bump bit can be folded down until the bump is big enough

I lived in Gap over bump skinny jeans when I was pregnant with my son and will probably buy 2-3 new pairs after the 12 week scan this time.

What are the H&M sizes like?

I've got some under bump ones and they just won't stay up. My over bump ones (new look) are much comfier but get a bit warm!

Mothercare over the bump skinnies- I bought the distressed version and they're super comfy- I'm dreading having to go back to regular jeans after pregnancy!

One thing I would say is that the over the bump ones can feel very insecure if you don't have a proper bump yet- they rely on the bump to hold them up!

I found over the bump only worked once I had a proper bump otherwise they slipped down (and the Jojo ones still do at 27 weeks). For the early days the best by far were some under bump slim grey ones from seraphine (via eBay).

I bought some H&M over the bump ones and they are amazing!
I normally find H&M sizing to be all over the place so was a bit sceptical! But I bought my normal pre pregnancy size 12 and they fit perfectly!
I will be investing in some under bump ones for the summer ... and probably some of their denim shorts!

H&M (the ones with belt loops not the super skinny) and Mothercare fit me best. I have a pair from New Look that I have to constantly pull up and they will be going on Ebay shortly!

Red herring at debenhams.
A mix of over and under bump.

Red herring over bump skinny are the best for comfort for me, most stretch and less crotch gape.

Thanks again all! I will be at my most preggers during the winter months, so sounds like that's a good thing jeans-wise, as I'll appreciate the warmth from the over-bump ones!

Topshop over bump. Leigh or Jamie. Much better quality denim and variety of lengths than most places.
