Where's my period?

Hi I posted the other day about being sick while on the pill, I'm awaiting my AF but still no show.

yesterday I had an egg white like discharge with just a single streak of like pink blood but nothing since I've also had backache and felt so icky and tired the last 3days.
the only pms symptom I normally have is just a few cramps. Could it be because my pill has been messed up from being ill last week that its delaying/messing with my period? Or does it sound like I'm maybe ovulating or something? Any advice please X

Is it a combined or a mini pill?

If it's combined, you get a bleed during the week break but it is NOT a period as you didn't ovulate- when the pill was designed in mid 20th century, the odd men decided women would miss their 'periods' if they didn't have them.

But, consider- you were sick. You often feel a bit rubbish for a few days after. Your hormones will be messed up by missing the pill so changes in discharge are really not surprising.

if in doubt just pee on a stick, as you were told in your other thread(s???)

Thank you that's good to know yes it's a combined pill are they more protective? Yes will take a test if AF doesn't show ile give it a few more days as I'm hoping the pill being in and out my system might just be sending my hormones abit loopy X

Well they work for some people but not for everyone- e.g. I couldn't take it as it raised my Blood pressure. The mini/ POP usually has a narrower window to take it every day and you take it every day but if taken properly, works fine

But, I'll say it again, your 'AF' is not a proper period so counts for nothing here, just take a test
