Onto day 3 and can't cope much longer. I'm 26 weeks with a 16 month old. Fantastic DH thank goodness but the pain is debilitating to say the least. Sad

Mine are so painful I vomit, but they were always gone when I woke up the next morning, see your gp he gave me a prescription for some pregnancy safe tablets x

Get yourselves to an acupuncturist immediately!!

Mine stopped after one session. She was an ex midwife who'd been practicing acupuncture for years & specialised in all anti natal issues. AMAZING!

Please go to your GP. There are good meds they can prescribe and you need not suffer through this.

Mine are just as bad as before. 12-36 hours, vomiting, dizziness, pounding head pain, muscle pain, light sensitivity etc. I suffered through T1 but when they were coming every week or two in T2 I went back to my docs. Am back on the same relievers. Cannot take my preventative medicine but at least I can treat them when they arrive.

GinerHana thank you. I went yesterday and I got some medication to stop the migraine completely. Unfortunately this didn't work. Is it common for them to be worse when lying down? The pain intensifies when lying and during the night.

Mine would be up to two days usually. Oddly, I found that sometimes after I had been sick three times it would just disappear, as if someone had flicked a switch - but unfortunately it didn't work every time and I then felt very short-changed.

But I had to lie down, anything else just wasn't an option.

The first lot I was given didn't work either. Go back immediately and insist on something else. I'm now on my old Sumatriptan which are perfect but not fully tested in pregnancy so some risk. Therefore I only take when I just cannot handle it and have to be functioning for the day - just started a new job so cannot just call in sick like I could before.

Lying down helps some and not others. Try reclining in bed on a few pillows so you're half sitting half lying. Hope it gets better quickly.
