Contraception failure?????

Hi
I've been sick and not been able to keep pill down, has anyone ever become pregnant on the pill?? How likely is it? X

Yes my friend had food poisoning for 3-4 days and she's now got a lovely little girl. Use condoms or just don't have sex...

Thank you, we haven't had sex since but we had the day I first became unwell and bit nervous as I know sperm can survive a while, we already have a 10month old and would love another, we just wouldn't have planned it so soon. I know it's highly unlikely I am but don't think ile feel calm till my period comes X

If you can't keep it down, condoms all the way. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and was on the pill AND was told I couldn't have kids... x

Wow that's amazing your little miracle baby!! Did you miss any pills ?? I thought ide of maybe started my period by now as last pill I took that stayed down was Saturday so think it's absence is making me paranoid Xx

Ha ha oh no!! 😂 It was in the morning I was ill later that night. I haven't got that will power ha ha. No I had sex in the morning then threw my pill up that night and haven't been able to keep it down since. Just paranoid as I know sperm can survive for about 5days or so I think xx

I got pregnant on the pill taking it properly. No sickness or diarrhoea or antibiotics. It's deifnitely possible and more common than you think the midwife said. I've been on it 9 years and never failed me until recently Grin

Oh gosh so even if you take it right it sometimes can't work!! I'm just waiting to see if AF comes now. Time will tell xX

Yep!! Midwife said very common haha. Very unexpected for us but were happy. I'm 15 weeks now. X

Just want to add yesterday evening this might be TMI but I had like an egg white discharge with like a light pink streak in it then an hour after had just one bout of the runs.
Could this be AF on her way??

haha yeah lil miracle baby ;-) nahhh i didnt miss any! But no contraception is 100% (especially if you are being sick!! ). what is it they say at school..... only way to 100% not get pregnant? dont have sex! hahah xxxx

That's very true ha ha I'm still waiting for AF to come.
I think more than anything I hate the not knowing!! We do want more kids we just wouldn't have planned it so soon after our first baby. Time will tell I guess X
