Light bleeding at 6 weeks

Hi, just wondering has anyone experienced this? I am going for an early scan in the morning. Had pains last night and this morning but thought they were gas pains. They subsidised and I went to the loo and there was light pink when I wiped. I've had mmc before but no bleeding. I had miscarriages years ago but can't remember how they started. I've had a weekend of stress with my partner who has a drink problem and was quite upset. I hope this is not a miscarriage. I am still nauseous but boobs aren't as sore and not needing to pee as much. It doesn't look good does it.

It coukd be mc or it coukd be implantation bleeding. I've had 3 early mc's and they all started with period cramps first then bright red bleeding. I'm now 39+1 and on this pregnancy I had light pink/Brown bleeding around 6 weeks and was convinced I was miscarrying again Or ectopic pregnancy. I had a scan and it was an implantation bleed... so really could be nd, coukd be eptoic or could be implantation bleed.

Only that scan can tell you... best of luck with it Flowers

Yes I read somewhere it's bright red bleeding if it's a mc. Fingers crossed this isn't.

That's good news and you have helped me too in an identical situation. I haven't gone to the EPU as literally only 6 weeks today. it's an IVF pregnancy so have a scan arranged for next wednesday, hopefully I can hold off til then. I had an very early miscarriage / late biochemical pregnancy (at 5 weeks) in August and it was nothing like what you'd described or what I've had this time so I'm feeling fairly positive. I'm also feeling sick as a dog so that's helping... Good luck and hope things continue well.

Glad it's helped you! I still can't believe all is ok I cried with relief seeing heartbeat. I am feeling pretty sick today too, so take that as a good sign
