Hello,

I'm looking for abit of advice, the past few days I've started to feel unwell of which I don't think is pregnency related.
I feel drowsy and just generally under the weather like the usual tasks I'm struggling with and I've lost my appetaite abit too. I don't think it's pregnency related because it feels nothing like when I was going through the tiredness and sickness a few months ago... and until now I've felt fine... But I'm not sure when I should ring my doctors, I'm worried that i'll waste there time and they'll say 'oh no it's normal to feel like this' I just feel like it's different and I might be coming down with something ..

What would you do?

It won't feel like the first trimester but it doesn't mean it's ok. It might be anaemia for example

When do you next see midwife? Check your notes folder for who to ring if you think is something is wrong, give them a ring and have a chat

Watching with interest because I am also 18 weeks and feel exactly the same. I've taken a day off work today, which is unusual for me.

The best I can describe it is feeling like I'm about to go down with the flu or something horrendous. I'm achy, tired, have a cold and just generally feel terrible. I know I'm not anaemic because I saw the midwife for blood test results on Friday but I do have a low platelet count so maybe that's something to do with it.

Hope you feel better!
