Anyone out there who has two very close in age.
DS arrived after failed ivf, a miscarriage and 6 years of trying. Number 2 is due next January.
Like buses...... Blush
Is it chaos? Or is it fun? Grin

Mine are 11 months apart.

Honestly I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. Ds is now 21 months and dd 10 months, they are the absolute sweetest together. It was a bit mad when dd was first born but as ds already had his routine dd did kind of just slot in

Congratulations! Smile

Yep, that was me too - took 5 years to make DS1, then I was pregnant within 5 months and about 4 weeks after stopping to BF ShockGrin
Also, DS2 then appeared 9 weeks early....

V best of luck.
It chaos AND fun - they are now 14 and 13 and just great.

My eldest 2 are 13 months apart. I found the hardest time when they were 1&2 but after that it's a godsend tbh. They are same sex which probably helps as they are into the same things, entertain each other etc. They fight but are the best of friends at the same time. That doesn't seem to make sense but I know what I mean. I have a 3.5 yr age gap between 2&3 and I found that harder as they are at completely different stages so things like days out etc are harder to plan

I'm another one with a similar story. 5 years, miscarriages, 2 failed IVFs and FET for DS1. I feel pregnant with DS2 9 months later.

There's a slightly bigger gap between mine as DS1 was just 17 months when DS2 was born. Honestly? It's been absolutely exhausting, I have enough food crumbs spread around the living room floor and between the sofa cushions to feed a small army, my house has been taken over by multicoloured plastic tat and I'm absolutely skint but it's worth it. DS2 slipped into family life and now that he's about to turn 1 it's so wonderful seeing him play with his brother. I wouldn't have planned to have 2 so close together but I certainly wouldn't change it for the world now that they're here Smile

Mine are 19 months apart. It's hard but I too wouldn't have it any other way. It's such an amazing feeling to watch them grow up together so close in age and play and laugh. It melts my heart each time.

Similar here, a year of trying for DC1 then DC2 appeared first time of trying, so we have a 16 month gap. It took me weeks to get over the shock when I found out I was pregnant with DC2. It was tough at first when they were very small but it worked out fine & they have grown up to be very close. Yes it's chaos, but fun as well. And it can't have been too bad as DC3 arrived a couple of years later, just to add to the fun.
