Hcg / progesterin levels & a non visable pregnancy

I have been having some cramping. So went to the EPU today.

A positive test both from urine and bloods but nothing was seen on ultrasound.

They basicly then said one of 3 options.

-Earlier than thought. To early to show.

-Eptopic pregnancy (which is my fear)

-Misscarried and been reabsorbed

They basicly then told me that my hcg levels where very very low at 24 so it was not looking viable.

To go home and rest and they would call me with results of more testing.

They then called me to say my progesterin levels where at 28.

So with hcg level=24 & progesterine=28

They have adviced to go back in 48 hours to repeat bloods from there. And in mean time if pain gets worse to phone an ambulance.

I am so terrorfied this is eptopic and it will end up painful and damage me. My heads all over the place

Guess I am looking for a hand hold, a rant and advice all at once

I had something similar last year. Positive tests, positive bloods, but nothing to be seen on a scan. I went back every 2 days for about 2 weeks for blood tests and my hcg did rise, it got up into the thousands but then started to fall again.
3 scans showed nothing.

Anyway, it was diagnosed as pregnancy of unknown location, although they had a look at my tubes at the scans, they couldn't rule our ectopic.

So they gave me the option to have an injection which would kill off the pregnancy so if it was in my tubes it wouldn't be able to grow and damage anything, or wait it out.

If I had opted for the injection then we wouldn't have been able to try again for 3 months (presumably because whatever kills the pregnancy off would still be in my system) but we decided to wait it out, and my period started 2 weeks later.

I'm going through the exact same thing had my second bloods done yesterday which doubled from Fridays they've booked me in for a another scan friday to see if anything shows up this time. Hope it's not ectopic as I'm due to fly to spain Saturday xx unsure how far along I am as got caught after implant removal and no periods xx

I am just going to take it easy until have next bloods. Put it out my mind if I can. But look after myself.

Otherwise it is going to drive me crazy. Think all I can do.

eminybob given circumstance I think I will opt for the same. Good to know about the injection I have researched it and think I will go for it if necessary. Sorry you had to go through that

stee1 good luck hope all goes well then you can have a nice relaxing holiday in the sun. Could be perfect timing for a break.

My initial bloods at about 4 weeks were 19. Less than 48 hrs later they were 72. Progesterone was not checked.
A week later they saw a gestational sac and I'm waiting for another scan this week to see if it's viable although I have hyperemesis so something's happening.
A low hcg level isn't always bad it could just be very early

Anixious but generally feeling weak and very nauceous. I am taking it that will be hormones increasing fingers crossed

Done alot of reading up on things which is weridly reassuring as I now feel prepared and what to exspect for each outcome.

Ironically I don't think I have ever felt more in need of a drink to calm my nerves.

Hi ladies, I'm so confused I have been ttc for 3 years, have PCOS!! found out I was pregnant 10 days ago. Due to irregular periods in somewhere between 3-6 weeks!! Dr send me from bloods and they can back at (dr thought) 4weeks 6 day 52ml and 5weeks 122ml. Dr called me in today and said it's possible Ectopic and have booked a scan tomorrow morning, still having pregnancy symptoms and positive tests I'm so confused 😳 Any idea??
