Hi ladies, I am 25 weeks pregnant with my first baby. At 24 week scan we've been told our baby measure 3-4 weeks less than it should. However, everything apart that looks perfect. I've been referred to see specialist the next week. He was measuring the baby again and we could see the growth about a 1 week. The good news - baby is growing, however he was still concern about the size and he suggested the amnio test for down and other syndromes, even if our previous test shown low chance to have ds. We did have the test fallowing day with two inserts of the needle as at first the baby was too close to the needle. Now, we are waiting for the results, the most stressful time ever, with worries about miscarriage and results.
If any of you have been suggested to do amnio test because your baby was too small??? I couldn't find anybody with similar experience here.
