20 week scan letter?

Hi everyone, I know it's probably slightly different in different areas, I was just wondering how soon you got your 20 week scan appointments/ letters? I know I had my 12 week one a good few weeks before the appointment. Thank you!

A couple of weeks after 12 week one

I've just had my 12 week on Friday and had to book my 20 week there and then at reception, they then gave me an appointment letter with the details on.

I was given a letter for mine when I turned up for 12 week scan.

I got mine through post at 16 weeks

Got mine last week at 18+5 and it's next week at 20+3!

Hmm okay guess it varies then! I was told I'd get a letter when I went for my 12 week scan , I'm now 15+3 and not got one yet. I'm know I've got plenty of time , just a worrier I think and I'll need to sort out with work. Thanks everyone!

In my area it comes after the 16w appointment with midwife but I think it all depends on area x

I had to book my 20w scan after my 12w scan at the hospital and they didn't send a letter

I booked my 20 week at reception after having 12 week. Then got a letter a week later confirming and including some leaflets etc.

My 20wk scan letter came with my 12 wk letter.

If you were told you would have it by now its probably worth chasing up with hospital. My letter went AWOL and I only found out when I called as theyd sent it to my old address under my maiden name for some reason....

Thanks everyone ! The problem is you can't ring the hospital directly where I live, you have to ring your midwife who then contacts them, however my midwife says if I want anything to call the main office (which is just and answering machine). Bit of a pain really but will give it a couple more days then ring , thank you!
