Help, having a panic!

Hi guys. New to MN, in need of some assurance. I'm 10w4d and I'm starting to worry I've had a MMC or have a miscarriage imminent. My symptoms are still up and down so it's not about that. But up until week 10, I had constant pulls, twinges, stretches, aches, cramps and niggles in my uterus and in the pelvic area in general. Then 5 days ago it abruptly stopped, and I've felt nothing since. Not a single niggle. No heaviness. No pressure when lying on my front. It's like the uterus just vanished.

I still have my nausea and boobs and tiredness, but I understand those symptoms can continue for a while if a pregnancy stops developing, so I can't look at them as reassurance.

I'm in Ireland and I won't be brought in for my first scan until about 14 weeks (says my doctor, and I've not had my hospital letter yet). I had a private scan at 7 weeks and saw a heartbeat, and I have another private scan booked for 12w1d. It's not like England here at least in my part of Ireland where you can just call a doctor or a midwife if you have concerns, so I have no real way of finding out what's going on until my 12wk scan, and I can't really afford to book another private appointment before then as it's 150 quid a pop.

Bit of background on me: I have one kid, an 11yo boy. I've had 2 miscarriages, both around the 6-7wk mark, before seeing heartbeat. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism. I've been through fertility treatment since 2012 and was diagnosed 2 years ago with unexplained infertility. They told me IVF was my only way. I then 6 weeks ago discovered I was somehow pregnant, yay.

I was taking 9 tablets for a severe anxiety disorder prior to falling pregnant, which I've obviously now had to stop. So I don't even know now if my panic about this is because of anxiety or if I have a genuine concern. Arghh.

Thank you to anyone who answers. Apologies if I come off a bit all over the place. Just can't get my head clear with this worry! Would appreciate any input.

If this is your only symptom I would try not to worry. If you experience pain and/or bleeding then that's when I'd suggest looking into it. It's completely understandable you're panicking - pregnancy is anxiety-inducing enough as it is, let alone adding 2 miscarriages and infertility to the mix. I really feel for you Flowers I guess also, as you say there's not a lot you can do until 12 weeks anyway, you really try and keep busy and focused on other things so as not to stress. Not feeling the things you describe don't mean you've miscarried for sure so just focus on that. I do understand having a "feeling that things aren't right" though as I've been there. I really hope you get those niggles back and all is well at your 12 week scan x

I had that last year turns out I had a mmc. I had it this year and I'm now 16 weeks. What I'm trying to say isthat what theyd told me all along is true and each pregnancy is different. Hope it works out for you x
