Some people say the old wives tales that your symptoms,cravings or position of your bump can guess weather the baby's sex is girl or boy ... what are some of the things you have heard about the gender? :)

They are utter bollocks. People said because I was carrying all front it meant a girl, others that it meant a boy. All utter rubbish.

It's all nonsense. Women's intuition is, oddly enough, the only thing which has a success rate beyond simple chance but then only marginally.

I read the other day that apparently 80% of women guess their babies sex correctly based on instinct. :-)

If the old wives tales were true for me then I have an odd little girl because she has a penis!

Honestly, if you ever find anything was "right" it's a coincidence. I agree that the only thing I'd say has any sort of reliability is the intuition of the mother. Even then we can be wrong!
