Hello,

Could anyone please tell me if this is definitely a positive pregnancy test. I can't get into the doctors for another two weeks (useless!) and worried as I've had some spotting today. Online calculators guess I'm about 7 weeks. Just panicking that the test may be the evap people talk about Confused

Definitely positive, congratulations x

I bled three times during my pregnancy. The first one was around 6 weeks. Everything was fine in the end, my little girl is 5 weeks old tomorrow.

Maiz7654 · 01/06/2017 11:56

Could be implantation bleeding or just for a random reason. Some of mine they never found a reason for.

blue2014 · 01/06/2017 12:47

Do you not have an early pregnancy unit nearby?

Bleeding does happen and it can be ok, but honestly sometimes it's not. There is no way of knowing unless you see a professional

Fingers crossed for you x

You don't need a GP appointment for spotting, you can go to urgent care for that :)

I had spotting for ages and went to urgent care at 8 weeks as was so worried; they got me a scan and everything was fine :) if it is light and not very crampy, it is actually very normal, especially at the time your next period is due. Good luck! Flowers

And to be honest, you may or may not need to go to GP anyway. In our area all the receptionists do when you go in and ask about being pregnant is give you the phone number for midwife service to self refer....
