Shoes to wear with this dress (do you like it??) for wedding day at 35 weeks?

I am getting married this summer at 35 weeks preg and have picked out this dress atm what do you think? And what shoes would go with it??

Love the dress. Perhaps some type of strappy flat gold sandal? You may want to wait a few weeks to purchase in case feet swell, etc.

I agree with gold sandals. The dress has a bit of a boho vibe, so maybe birkies? Not sure if that's your style. They do (or at least did) a lovely dark gold/bronze colour, and would be comfy in late pregnancy.

Stunning dress! Yy to gold sandals. Something with ribbons that do up round the ankle, maybe? So pretty!

Beautiful dress. Def agree with waiting until nearer the time in case of swelling. I went to a wedding at 37 weeks & could only fit in loose flip flops. Haviannas do gold ones which would be comfy.

Thanks ladies. I am pleased you all like it. I was abit miffed by the bottom as the lace layer extends lower than the inside layer so you can see feet! But its a steal at £45!

It's beautiful! and seeing your feet means an excuse for pretty sandals, that others will be able to see :) definitely buy those nearer the time like previous posters have said, and even if you can only wear something like simple flip flops there are some ideas on Pinterest that you could look at doing to make them look a bit more like bridal shoes :)

I don't think I could have got anything wrapped around my ankles at 35 weeks...

Is it a beach / very casual wedding, so flip flops would be OK? Or do you want something more sandal-y?

I've just been to someone's wedding at 35 weeks. Had to change shoes as flats which had previously been a bit loose were trying to chop my feet off

So strappy sandals with plenty of adjustment was my only optionn

Like those Havianas above-they look like they have the most growing room too!

Have a look at Ancient Greek sandals - pricy but the metallic ones are lovely and you can eat them again and again.

The belt is a browny-pink. Like antique rose?

The venue is a country house and pub. Nothing super fancy but nice grounds. If its hot i will most likely be outside for the most part. Ceremony will be inside. Its August wedding so expecting it to be hot

I think the straps may be to chunky and heavy looking for the dress but not too blingy.

Yeah i agree i think. Wouldve saved me a few £ but atleast ones like the havianas will defo be used for other stuff later on
