Alfieisnoisy · 30/05/2017 06:41

Okay OP, deep breaths and post some detail. There will be someone who can help here I am sure.

Is it the pregnancy that's scaring you? Something else?

Presh1234 · 30/05/2017 06:42

I woke at five This Morning with pains in my chest. Have been lying afraid to move since. I am 7 weeks pregnant and due to other medication I had a full heart check two weeks ago. Ultrasound, treadmill, 24hr monitor, scan. Everything was fine. I'm now getting these pains and not sure if something was missed or if it is pregnancy related.

How far a long are you in your pregnancy op?

Presh1234 · 30/05/2017 06:42

I'm lying here in tears. I should be happy, I am happy, but I'm so frightened. I feel abnormal.

X-post!

Sounds like you need to get yourself checked out op

Presh1234 · 30/05/2017 06:44

I feel so down and depressed and sad. I don't know if it's hormones or whether there's actually something wrong wth me

Ring the doctor, or epu when they open.

Presh1234 · 30/05/2017 06:45

I'm not in uk, so we are 3 hours ahead of uk. Have an appt at 11.20, so an hour and a half away.

Every time I get one box ticked and out of the way, something else crops up and send me into a panic.
What does X-post mean??

OP posts:
Presh1234 · 30/05/2017 06:47

The pain doesn't come when I am resting, only when I move. I have no pain breathing, I have no other problems, just a sharp pain in the centre of my chest when I move

leighdinglady · 30/05/2017 08:13

Does the pain in the centre of your chest feel like something inside or outside? I have an awful bruised feeling, like I've been punched between the breasts. It's just breast growth (I'm 11 weeks)

twinkle1972 · 30/05/2017 08:35

Please let us know how your appointment goes. Good luck

Presh1234 · 30/05/2017 10:45

Hi all, so I'm just back from my appointment. The doc seems to think I have costchondritis which is muscular in the chest walls. Perhaps due to the big boobies I have which are now ever increasing. Nothing I can take as anti inflammatories are not recommended. But she suggested massage. Due to my history of DVT, even though I'm on daily injections, she has done a d dimer test to ensure there is no clotting. Precaution she said. She also did yet another ECG and lung function test, both which were normal.
She said I hadn't had the greatest start to pregnancy as I've been poked and prodded so much in the past month with test after test.
Thank you all so much for earlier. I'll keep you posted when I know this afternoon about the d dimer. Fingers crossed it comes back negative. Xx

Glad you are okay OP. The fact that the pain wasn't there when you moved is reassuring as well. At least you know what it is now so if it happens again you will feel less anxious.

How are you doing?
