reflux

I've had reflux for the past year or so and it was really helped by acid cider vinegar. I've been looking for a definitive answer as to whether it's safe to take in pregnancy and despite trawling throught the net, I don't seem to be able to find out. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and would love to be able to take it again so does anyone have an answer? (My doctor didn't seem to know and I don't have a midwife appointment until another 3 weeks.)
Thanks for any help

Can't help, I'm afraid, but am bumping for you.

Hi there, do you mean Apple Cider Vinegar tablets or actual Apple Cider Vinegar? I would give the tablets a miss but think that having Apple Cider vinegar in a little water everyday shouldn't do any harm. But please trust your own instinct on this & don't just take my word for it as I'm not a pro.

Assume you've tried Gaviscon?

tried gaviscon but doesn't help too much.
I think I will go back to acv - not tablets - just a couple of teaspoons a day in some water. As an older pregnant mum - I'll be seeing a consultant in a couple of weeks. Hopefully they'll be able to give some advice.
Thanks for your comments.
