I'm 14 weeks and for the last few minutes I've had what feels like popping bubbles around my trouser/hip height, right center.

I've never felt anything like it, it's like tap, tap, tap...or little bubbles popping inside.

This can't be me feeling baby already, right?

Yep that sounds exactly like the first flutters. I started getting flutters around 15 weeks, soon turned into full on boots by 20 weeks!

FatOldBag · 26/05/2017 21:35

Aw, that's your baby!

MrsPringles · 26/05/2017 21:41

Oh I so miss that feeling!

OnNaturesCourse · 26/05/2017 21:47

Wow, this is super early, how exciting!

It's like a thing just between bump and me atm as you can't feel it on the outside.. So special 💞

Is this your first?
It's very exciting when you feel those little pops for the first time ☺️

Starstarbright599 · 26/05/2017 22:31

I felt mine about 14 weeks x

OnNaturesCourse · 26/05/2017 22:35

Oh wow you're so lucky! I had to wait til about 21 weeks. Enjoy it!xx

I know some people think they feel the baby move from 14 weeks but I don't see how it's possible. 1.5 ounces It's basically the size of a slug.

From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces. His body's growing faster than his head, which now sits upon a more distinct neck. By the end of this week, his arms will have grown to a length that's in proportion to the rest of his body.

Fliptophead · 26/05/2017 22:42

Also how much moving is it doing in there at 14 weeks?

LookImAHooman · 26/05/2017 22:48

Lovely analogy, Flip Hmm

And to answer your question, they're all over the ruddy shop.

Starstarbright599 · 26/05/2017 23:05

Flip you can say it's not possible but the fact people do feel it means it is actually possible!
Some people just more aware of their bodies than others.

Catherinebee85 · 26/05/2017 23:29

Of course it's possible to feel it. Obviously you're not going to be feeling distinct kicks but if you can feel gas moving around your digestive system why wouldn't you be able to feel a little tiny person wriggling around.
Your placenta must be in just the right place to feel such movement so early xx

Lucinda15 · 27/05/2017 08:01

You can definitely feel it that early. As catherine says, if you can feel gas you can certainly feel a foetus doing somersaults; which you would see them do if you've had the 12 week scan! Both my DC's were doing acrobats and somersaults during the 12 week scan!

eyestotheskies · 27/05/2017 08:57

I felt my second at 14 weeks and third (current pregnancy) at 12 weeks.. couldn't believe it

OnNaturesCourse · 27/05/2017 09:58

Thank you all. Least I know I'm not going crazy. 😂
