I want to hear your experiences with a water birth. I had one when I gave birth to my DD and I would recommend it to anyone having a baby.

Was the best experience and the most chilled out labour 😊

I had one with my first, loved it, loved the gas and air, totally tripped out and was convinced I'd given birth when the midwife left the room I cried when they says I hadn't but the baby definitely shifted.
Was in and out of the pool as it slowed the contractions down. And when they made me eat some toast and I was sick ( I said I would be) loved it and wish I could have one this 2nd pregnancy but there's a chance of complications so I'm hoping to opt for a c section.

Highly recommend a water birth !

Had one with my first. It was great. Calm and the best pain relief ever. I think I made the comment that I didn't know how anyone managed to do it on dry land!

I've had 2 water-births for my 2 DC's, and hoping for another later this year. Was quite relaxing and along with the gas and air did a great job of pain relief. I'd definitely recommend giving it a go to anyone considering one.

I had one with dd1. I was skeptical over them at first but went from 7cm to baby in less than 40 minutes. I'm desperate to have one this time but am remaining open minded (only two birthing pools in the whole city)

I laboured in the water but gave birth on the bed with DS1 and with DS2 I had a home water birth.
Both fairly nice births but the home water birth was definitely the better experience and I'm so glad I did it.
