Prepping for embryo transfer, what did you do?

I'm about 4 weeks away from embryo transfer (EEEK!!!) and would love to hear what you all did (or didn't do) to prepare? Did you eat certain things? Stop exercise? Take supplements? Did you take antibiotics or prednisone? Low did aspirin?
And after embryo transfer? Pineapple core? Bed rest? Going back to normal?
What worked or didn't work for you?
Thank you for any advice or tips! This is my very first embryo transfer and it's with donor eggs so I'm super nervous but also excited as my own eggs are no good.

Hi, I didn't really do anything different other than rested afterwards for a day or 2, just watched tv from the settee. I stopped exercise afterwards too, I personally didn't want to risk jiggling it about too much!
Good luck

You'll probably get more response on the infertility board.
I took transfer day and next day as holiday from work. Sat on the sofa and watched tv. Got taxi back from clinic. First time it didn't work, second time it did (miscarriage), third time it did (twins). I did the same things each time. Attempt 2 and 3 I had aspirin and steroids and injectable progesterone.

Sorry should have added - good luck hope it all goes well. Also first time was day 3 embryos second and third time day 5 (third frozen).

I didn't do anything different before - carried on eating well as I had done. I was bloating up and uncomfortable for the last couple of weeks up to and after transfer day so didn't feel up to much anyway. After the day I took a few days off work and took things very easy - lots of TV! Good luck - hope it goes well

I didn't do anything, just tried not to think about it which is obviously impossible.

Good luck!

Thanks all 😊 It's impossible not to overthink every little thing! I'm trying to keep it simple as per my RE recommended things. But once you hit google it totally messes with you and makes you wonder if you're doing enough.

I tried to drink plenty of water in the run up and I ate Brazil nuts and pineapple.
Then for 2 days after transfer I just lay about eating the best quality food I could find. On day 3 I went for a gentle walk.
Currently 10 weeks pregnant

PS don't know if any of these things made the blindest difference. That's just what I did.

Congrats lapin! Sounds like a lovely way to encourage the embryos to stick around! I'll be in Prague so I'm sure I'll find some delicious comfort foods, and hopefully I can get fresh pineapple juice too as I tried pineapple core and yuck. Too fibrous and chewy.
