pregnancy and propanolol

Hi ladies- so I'm an idiot and took 40mg of propranolol this morning as I usually do (use it very infrequently, like twice a year, when doing big presentations) except was forgetting about pregnancy- am 13 weeks& I do know it's contraindicated. Should I be worried?

I think it's one of those ones that you can take if there's no alternative. Like lots of the antidepressant and anxiety meds. To me I'd read that as 'it's best not to, but it's not dangerous enough to forbid it'. I doubt one dose would cause any harm. Maybe give your Gp a call

As a one off it'll be fine op. I take 80mg daily, my consultant was ok with me taking it til about 4 months when it was decided mutually to switch due to my past.
