With my second, I'm hot, tired, moany and constantly need a wee...anyone else in a similar position?

Don't get me wrong I'm pleased to be pregnant but was hoping the rain would last a bit longer lol I'm not even showing much, my bump is small but I'm uncomfortable and counting down the days until half term and her due date

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
deb1407 · 24/05/2017 07:53

Phoned hospital & they don't seem too concerned unless I'm having proper timed contractions then not to worry, period like cramp has eased off although have a full back. Beds stripped this morning & now in full nutcase mode preparing just incase!!

UnbornMortificado · 24/05/2017 14:45

Thanks colour I might relax a bit when he's actually arrived safe.

Debs sounds like nesting.

I'm in the north east it's been just as hot today. I got asked in a shop how long I had left, she looked surprised when I said I was only 22 weeks. I seem to be massive this time round.

Hollyhop17 · 24/05/2017 14:58

Also 32 weeks today and wishing it was over. Have had HG all throughout and its in general been a miserable experience. Delighted to be told yesterday I'll be induced at 39 weeks if he hasnt come before then. Fingers crossed he makes an appearance sometime after 37...

ColourfulOrangex · 24/05/2017 16:35

@Hollyhop17 me too from week 3 - 25 constantly it's been horrendous, I never had any sickness with my first, he was early in hoping this one is too, at least you know the end is in sight with an induction :)

deb1407 · 24/05/2017 17:08

@ColourfulOrangex I had no sickness nothing with my first, he was early & perfect, was a great baby, we didn't even have " teething " he just woke up every other day with a new tooth. I'm having a girl this time, she's had me ill from day 1 and I feel I've had a right " off " pregnancy if that makes sense!

Think she's just letting me know what I'm in for! - typical female!!

UnbornMortificado · 24/05/2017 17:58

I've had two of each but this pregnancy has crippled me. I have bi-polar so I came off a load of MH drugs, then I've ended up on anti-sickness meds for constant vomiting and oramorph for a trapped nerve after surgery.

Sod's law I suppose, I'm due a boy this time.

UnbornMortificado · 24/05/2017 17:59

Deb anything been happening or has it all eased off now?

ColourfulOrangex · 24/05/2017 18:05

@deb1407 that literally could've been written about my son! He woke up with teeth, was never sick etc was an angel baby, this one is like a little devil lol she's been trouble since day 1

I hope you feel better @UnbornMortificado Flowers

deb1407 · 24/05/2017 19:35

@UnbornMortificado - no more mucus plug but I did have a lot. Back is still dull achey and my bump appears very tight, most pain seems to be from my cervix, I ended up going back to bed about 11 this morning as I was a total emotional wreck, crying over nothing and picking fights for fun! This pregnancy has turned me into a monster xx

lilyborderterrier · 24/05/2017 19:49

26 weeks today with my 2nd, hot, knackered sweaty and massive, i look like I'm going to pop soon as I'm also carrying a massive bloody fibroid inside me 😕I'm scared about the birth and what will happen to it once I give birth. Having not seen the midwife since week 20 I know I'll have to explain everything in a few weeks when I go as it seems like the consultant and midwife team don't confer with each other. The next 3 months ( if I go that far seem a long way off)

FluffyTowers · 24/05/2017 20:31

31+4 here with my 3rd. Constipation, piles, swollen Fanjo, chronic back pain from pre pregnancy, spd, heartburn, restless legs, irritable uterus & to top it off gallstones. Really hoping I go at 37/38 weeks with this one but the other 2 were late (and over 9lb 😣)

However my core temp runs cooler than average which means I'm nearly always cold, so I'm coping with the warm weather much better than other pregnant women!

Notyetthere · 24/05/2017 21:50

34+4 today - very tight bump that is measuring bigger than it should at 35.5cm. I am actually loving the warm weather but then my commute isn't too bad as the train always has seats. I like that I don't have to wear tights anymore as it was getting challenging with bump in the way.

However, I am not sleeping well due to the hip pain if I sleep on one side too long. And spd is very painful when you decide to turn in bed.

Part of me wants baby to arrive at 37weeks but I am working till 38 weeks and would like to at least have a week to myself. I will see if I can bring maternity leave forward by 1week to 37 weeks.

Oh yes and feet swelling in the evening.

deb1407 · 25/05/2017 11:04

It's a heatwave in Scotland 25 to be precise! It's days like this I'm glad I took early Mat leave!!

How are we all doing!? Let's get a proper thread of support going here - no one understands what we are going through right now quite like us!

Ps. I'm nuts - Joined slimming world this morning!

ColourfulOrangex · 25/05/2017 11:09

The heat is driving me mad :( I'm sleeping with a fan on overnight just so I can get a bit of sleep in between the endless trips to the toilet!

I've just finished packing as we are going away for half term and I feel like I've run a marathon

You joined slimming world @deb1407?? You need ice cream and lots of ice lollies in this weather...good luck with it I don't think I would have the will power in this heat lol

I know the feeling. In 2015 I was pregnant. Due August 30th. And of course July and August seemed to be so hot. And being 8-9 months, I just wanted it over.
I was small (measured 30 weeks at 37, and my baby was 6lb 7oz, so not big at all, but I was still uncomfortable, and really wanting to be sat outside in the sun with a lovely cold refreshing vodka orange and lemonade. )

deb1407 · 25/05/2017 12:47

@ColourfulOrangex when are you due again?

My 5 year old is away for a week to Rhodes with my ex husband and his family. I am missing him terrible, my son, not my ex husband ConfusedGrin but should be taking the break and time with baby daddy to chill.

X

ColourfulOrangex · 25/05/2017 13:29

I'm due 19th July, I already have a 6 year old who was 18 days early so I'm hoping his sister follows suit but she probably won't lol

Oh I bet your little boy is enjoying it :)

OP posts:
deb1407 · 25/05/2017 19:35

@ColourfulOrangex - my little one was 18 days early, I'm praying for the same again, but time will tell! I'm due 2nd July. Really hoping for a June baby!

This heat is unbearable, dreading bedtime tonight!

UnbornMortificado · 25/05/2017 20:22

The heat is dreadful, it's supposed to be hotter tomorow in my area. I'm not looking forward to it.

deb1407 · 30/05/2017 09:24

How are we all getting on?

35+2 - midwife today! My false labour last week kicked my ass.

Got lots of pain around cervix area. Wondering if she will examine me today!?

ColourfulOrangex · 30/05/2017 20:54

How did the midwife go @deb1407?

We are on holiday at the minute just at a haven but it's quite nice having a swimming pool on your doorstep and I don't even like swimming!

We've had a lovely thunderstorm today though Grin

OP posts:
ColourfulOrangex · 02/06/2017 16:57

How's everyone getting on?

Back to normality for us next week, school etc

Still very hot here

OP posts:
deb1407 · 02/06/2017 17:20

@ColourfulOrangex - Still here, still pregnant, 35+5, hanging in there! How are you?

I started EPO capsules this morning, sadly my gran passed away today so the next few weeks will be a daze, not exactly how I wanted to take my mind off things

ColourfulOrangex · 02/06/2017 18:43

Oh no I'm so sorry about your Gran Flowers

Only 33+2 it seems to be dragging, her movements have become a lot more forceful recently too and she has found my ribs! Hmm

Is the EPO to induce labour?

OP posts:
ColourfulOrangex · 07/06/2017 15:18

34 weeks today and I want her out :( I'm tired, hot and irritable, suffering (still) from heartburn and also now got acid reflux, these final 6 weeks feel like a lifetime I just want to be comfy 😢
