Hg in one pregnancy and not in next?

11 weeks and starting to worry about scan coming up. Had a miscarriage at 7 weeks previously then my ds who is 6 months, with him I was sick 10-20 times a day until 28 weeks despite drugs. This time I've been sick 4 times total, worrying that there is something wrong. Or can you have subsequent pregnancy without hg?

I've had the opposite, no vomiting with 1st baby and HG with this pregnancy (currently 15 weeks) Try not to worry, my GP said every pregnancy is different.

It's entirely possible. It's more common for HG to come back worse in subsequent pregnancies, but there have definitely been accounts of women who have suffered a lot less or even not at all in later pregnancies. Fingers crossed you're one of the lucky ones!

I hope so! As much as hg with a 6 month old to look after would be horrendous, it was reassuring last pregnancy if that makes sense after the miscarriage.

Hopefully scan next week shows everything is ok and I can start to enjoy not being sick!

Don't know if it helps but two women here said they had less sickness the second time around so it does happen

If you're driving yourself totally crazy, would an early private scan be an option to put your mind at rear?

I'm in the same boat I'm 9 weeks and barely been sick at all. Had horrific sickness from 5 weeks with my last pregnancy my first though I had non so I'm hoping it's ok.

I was badly sick with my first two pregnancies,numerous times a day though out,however no sickness at all with my last pregnancy and that was twins! Born healthy at 37 weeks
I just say my body got used to pregnancy as I have no other explanation.
