When did you start showing?

I've recently found out I'm pregnant.
I get married at the start of August and thought we'd start trying in April and got caught on the first cycle! I'm thrilled but now worrying about how much I'll show on my wedding day.

I don't mind people knowing I'm pregnant but I'm worried about getting my dress altered to fit etc.
I am about 6 weeks at the moment and will be about 16 on the wedding day.

Not until about 7 months.

I had a good bump when I was about 16 weeks. It wasn't massive but definitely noticeable.

I had a noticeable bump by week 16 and my jeans did no longer fit 😩

This is 3rd baby and the past 2 weeks I have noticed a bump rather than chub. 20th week 🙂

I'm only really showing now and am 21 weeks.

With this being your first baby you will be fine, you will have a tiny bump but not so big clothes won't fit, doubt you will need your dress altered.

First baby about 8 months, second about 6 months and this one not a hint yet but only 2-3 months. Have you chosen a fitted dress?

Thanks all. Looks like I may need to get my dress altered. I may try and change it from a zip into a corset back just in case.
I've read that I'll show later with it being my first pregnancy but I suppose I'll not know either way until nearer the time!

The dress is quite fitted around the bodice but it's currently three sizes too big anyway as it was bought off the rack.

I was showing from around 14 weeks but I was quite slim. Now 34 and the size of a house!

I actually had a slight bump at 11 and a half weeks. I'm 13 weeks now and definitely have a bump not bloat. Not huge and can hide in baggy clothes but definitely cannot in tight clothes

Also mine is first pregnancy. My sisters all showed early too. We are all short with short torsos. The midwife says that contributes to it too

I have a tiny bump at 18 weeks but no one would know. Hopefully I won't show for a while. I'm not one of those bump show offs.

I'm only 5 foot 2 and a size 10-12 so I may show earlier than some.
I'm trying not to worry about it because I'm so happy to have concieved so quickly! I just don't want to have a panic a week before the wedding when the dress won't fit!

I had to stop wearing tight belts at 17 weeks. Had a pot belly bump which was v noticeable to me, but was the kind of is sge/isn't she bump you get after a bloating lunch. Have a long body though.

Im 19 weeks, first baby, huge boobs but other than that not showing much. I was a size 16 to start with so not small. Its only noticeable to me in very tight clothing. Most people cant spot that I'm pg. Congratulations xx

First pregnancy I started to notice a bit of a bump around 15 or 16 weeks but don't think anyone else would really have noticed. Will probably depend on what your dress is like too. My bump definitely got bigger later in the day and after I had eaten a meal, not sure if that was just me!!

8/9 weeks (with twins)

With DS it was around 17/18 weeks. I was trying to keep it quiet at work until my 20 week scan but could see a colleague staring at me as I stood side on to her across the room & knew the game was up.

This time my clothes are no longer fitting properly at 15 weeks but more all over stomach bloat than a definite bump.

I was a size 10 and with my first was about 18 weeks until a started showing even a tiny bit.

With this one I popped at about 7 weeks 😂

I'm 13 weeks (almost) and my boobs have gone bananas.. I'm also mega bloated so have no idea if there is a 'real' bump or not!!

I was in maternity jeans at 13 weeks because of bloating. By 16 weeks it was noticeable to all that something was going on.

Everyone is different. You'll be fine. Dresses can be altered.
