Waking baby up for scan

So I've been told baby needs to be a bit livelier for my scan today.

So I was thinking a good breakfast and sugary tea might help?

Scan is at 11 so maybe chocolate before? A little walk?

Any other ideas?

The sonographer at my private scantold me to have a warm sugary drink before the scan. I'm planning on having a hot chocolate before my 20 week scan

Cold sugary stuff. I was advised ice cream as a good bet. Never a better excuse to chow down on a feast !

Oh and marching up and down stairs helped too.

Ooo I might take a little flask along with hot chocolate. Good idea xx

Hot chocolate with ice cream on top?! Lol

I'm sure cold works too, as they advise drinking a cold drink if you're worried about reduced movements. Lots of people drink chilled orange juice

Full fat coke woke DS up when we needed him moving for a scan - good luck!

My Sonographer woke My little boy up by nudging him with the scanner last Friday Smile

Well, nothing worked the first time today...even after wiggling, turning on my side, lifting my butt up etc. Buy after a long walk and some skittles.... I'm thinking bump is a girl....

Lucozade, San Pellingrino, jelly sweets and icecream have done the trick for both of mine... Not all at once though. Wink

Second lucozade. Worked a treat for my most uncooperative daughter. After s bottle of that she was practically doing star jumps Easter SmileStarSmile
