Does this mean twins? Has anyone had this and what was the outcome?

Implantation bleeding isn't very well studied and is possibly just a random occurrence unrelated to pregnancy. Certainly I've had spotting at "implantation time" in cycles where I haven't been pregnant.

The theory about implantation bleeding is that the egg burrowing in dislodges a small amount of blood which then slowly makes its way down, so I think if this happened it's not unlikely that it might come in dribs and drabs rather than all at once.

So in summary it could mean pregnancy or not but I think it's unlikely that it means twins. Sorry Grin

With a singleton, 5 or 6 distinct bleeding episodes of the implantation bleeding type between 6—9w. Baby is fine.

I bled on and off for 6 days with my first, doesn't mean twins I'm afraid
