Hi
I'm only 26 weeks and last night when I wiped myself I had a bit of mucus that was tinged pink. I have had fairly regular discharge the whole way though, as I think is normal, but this definitely looked different, thicker. Nothing since though, fortunately. Should I be worried?

Could it be related to sex? I had this after sex at about 35 weeks and got a bit of a fright, but MW told me not to worry unless it was fresh blood. Check with MW if you're worried though.

I had pinky shiny mucus and it turned out to be early rupture of membranes. Could be other things though - but just in case contact your midwife and ask for a ferning test.

I just leaked a little here and there - everything fine in the end. But there is a risk of infection so best to rule it out / in.

Oooo, bumper, hope you are ok. I had a similar thing at 24 weeks with my dd. I had crampy pains all day and some bloody discharge in the evening. I phoned the labour ward and they told me to come in. They did a swab and found nothing so sent me home. They never did find out why it happened. My dd wasn't born til 42 weeks, so it wasn't anything to do with labour! Phone your mw, she'll prob want to see you. Keep us updated.

I had pinky discharge at 29 weeks - phoned the unit, went in for a swab and a scan, all well, went home again. Don't be worried but do phone, if only to put your mind at rest.

Hi all
Thanks for being worried about me!Sorry for the desperate message then buggering off! But I've been away for the weekend. Haven't got it checked out but had nothing since, so I'm sure everything is ok.
