Booking appointment 7+5

I got my letter today from the hospital for a booking in appointment; however I will only be 7+5 weeks pregnant at the appointment. Is this not too early? Do you get your first scan at the appointment?

No you will just go through all of your family medical history with the midwife, have bloods taken, pee in a pot etc. Your scan will be at a later appointment.

They will ask you about your medical history and do some blood & urine tests. They will refer you for your 12 week scan which happens separately.
