I know it varies with every pregnancy, but was just wondering roughly when dh might be able to feel the baby kicking from outside?

I am 20 weeks and have felt it kicking inside a bit but just wondered when dh might as well?

hi firststar - yup will be great.

yes fio fio he came to the 12 week scan - and we have the 20 week one on monday so he'll be there too. Think the 20 week one will be better than the 12 cause even i didnt feel very attached to the baby at that stage and it all still felt a bit unreal, but now that we are making name lists, and i can feel it move sometimes, its definatley becoming more real. Just cant wait till he can feel it move too.

I remember when I was pregnant with DS, he used to kick like a bull and then everytime DH put his hand on my belly, he'd stop. I thought it was quite funny but DH felt most left out. Yo ho ho. The power of the baby eh?!?

Try snuggling up behind dh like a spoon (you know the position ) so your belly is pressed up against his back, you'll be surprised how much dh will feel like that. we did that from about 16 weeks every night at it always seemed to wake ds up a bit and dh swears he felt him from about 18 weeks
