Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any information for me. I'm currently unemployed, I have a 1 year old and I am 6 months pregnant. I took maternity from my last job and decided not to go back and be a full time mummy to my little girl. I am now wondering if I am entitled to any sort of income, my husband works and we get child tax credits and child benefits but I was wondering if I was entitled to any maternity money or something along them lines? Any info would be great. Thanks x

Maternity allowance is for the self employed or those who are working but not eligible for SMP for example if they haven't worked in a place for long enough.
