Possibly stupid question - water slide at 13 weeks

I hope I'm worrying unnecessarily!
I'm on holiday and without thinking went down a water slide a few times. It was only after that I read the holiday park info that said don't use if ... and a list of things including pregnancy.

It was a very short slide (like a playground type slide not a flume) but it does go straight into the pool so big splash etc although I don't remember much of an 'impact' IYSWIM. I did end up very deep though.

I am full of anxiety anyway (it's so, so bad this pregnancy) and am now freaking out. Of course if I hadn't read the thing I wouldn't have thought anything of it and would do it again today (I won't now). Googling hasn't brought up anything consistent really.

Am 13 and a half weeks and have had scans etc.

Anyone had any info from a MW/doctor about this please?

I wouldn't worry in the slightest about this. Theme parks will always have disclaimers about pregnancy for legal reasons, but from what you've described I really can't see any specific risk from this slide (and I'm a GP, for what it's worth). Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy Flowers

Thank you cel :) I sort of know logically that it wasn't a huge impact off a high diving board etc, it was kind of like plopping into the water really! I'm just so outrageously anxious about every bloody thing at the moment! (I am informing my MW about the anxiety BTW) Thanks

I really think that's fine: they always plaster warnings everywhere, but your baby is well protected inside you!

Don't worry - alot of women won't even realise theyre pregnant at that time and do all sorts. As long as you didn't directly impact belly and aren't having pains I'd say you're fine :)

I went on one at 15 weeks and I knew I was PG - I didn't have a bump at that point, baby is well insulated and tucked away in your pelvis and I also have some additional 'insulation' around the middle.

As a PP has said, I think they put those things on as a disclaimer / catch all thing...

I think They put warnings on things in case something goes wrong- for example if you had slipped from using the slide they would be covered legally
If you went down it and didn't cause yourself any injuries then I don't think you need to worry
