Round Ligament pain

Hi all,

I was just wondering what is round ligament pain?
What does it feel like?
Where do you feel it and also when in pregnancy do you have round ligament pain?

Had it last time at 17 weeks. Was in so much pain couldn't believe nothing was going wrong!! Learned to recognise the pains as 'normal' though so could try and enjoy my pregnancy without worrying too much.

Not sure if it's the same but I get a sharp pain on the right hand side of my bump. Sometimes randomly and sometimes if I've been twisting. It feels on the outside, just under the skin IYSWIM so I know it's not the baby. I'm 38 weeks and had it off and on since about 12 weeks.
