No symptoms at 8weeks

Hi,

I'm 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

I had an early miscarriage in December (on our honeymoon of all times )

I'm terrified - I don't feel pregnant at all. I get waves of nausea, some days bad other days fine. I wake up with sore breasts & then they'll be fine.

I'm scared & I don't know if I can go through this again

We had been trying for 2 years so this baby is very much longed for...

I just wanted to know if anyone has had little to no symptoms & gone on to have a successful pregnancy?

But I also want to know from anyone who has ended up with an unhappy outcome - I need to be realistic here.

I have an early reassurance scan booked in for Saturday when I'll be 8w+4d.

Anything from anybody would be great because at the moment I'm just googling old forums from the past & my minds racing & I can't sleep.

I'm 35 weeks pg and I never really had any symptoms early on, other than being very hungry late in the first trimester.

Even now I feel relatively ok. Ok, I'm awake at 04.30 due to it being too uncomfortable to get a decent full nights sleep but otherwise day to day I just feel pretty much the same as I always did, except with a bump. And this is despite being at higher risk of pre eclampsia and being told last week my blood pressure is raised.

Once you have your reassurance scan you'll hopefully feel better. Keep away from Google and negative stories. Some people, like me, do just get lucky and have easy pregnancies. If you're the same, relax and enjoy it!

I had absolutely no early symptoms with DS1 apart from a missed period, it does happen! Fingers crossed for your early scan, and try to enjoy this sick-free time!

Try to stay positive. I understand it can be difficult. I only had my pregnancy confirmed by a test at my GP at 8 weeks and other than sore boobs knew nothing more about it x

In my first pregnancy, I had no symptoms at all. It really was trouble-free and I still felt absolutely fine (apart from uncomfortably big) when I gave birth to my DD which was an relatively easy non-traumatic birth. No symptoms does not mean anything is necessarily wrong and all pregnancies for the same person are different.

This time I had early nausea, although no vomiting. Have bad sciatic pain and swelling and have struggled with digestive issues. However I am 38 weeks tomorrow so just waiting for baby to make appearance! Just to show how it can be different each pregnancy.

Sorry to hear of your previous loss. Thoughts are with you for Saturday and hope that it will put your mind at rest and you can continue on with this pregnancy with a little less worry 💐

You hear so much about being sick & feeling sick that when that one major symptom isn't there it's a worry.

I had no symptoms at all. I didn't believe I could possibly be pregnant until I saw the scan. I felt absolutely normal!
My LO is 7 months now

I could have written your post. Minus the miscarriage in December. I'm 8+1 and today is the first day I've felt a bit off. Slightly queasy but nothing to write home about. Loads of people don't get sickness despite what you see and hear. I'm sure your rainbow baby is just fine and you'll be able to see it soon enough

Hello - I'm nearly 11 weeks now and I think my (slight) symptoms only kicked in about 8-9 weeks. Now I'm nearly 11 weeks the boobs are really rounded but they did nothing to start with and my friend who recently had a baby said her boobs didn't change at all until about 7 months.
Sickness started in a very slight way about week 8 and got worse from there but it's manageable.
I worry a bit too as I'm no spring chicken but I've decided that I'm so lucky to be pregnant (after IVF) that I may as well enjoy it and not worry as I'd rather feel happiness than worry - but that said I do understand after trying myself for so long and failed IVF etc.
All we can do is enjoy being woman and stay positive - hoooray!! xx

I didn't find out until 12 weeks, only noticed symptoms from 11 weeks

This is me exactly. My symptoms just stopped at 7 weeks and haven't really had any since. Appetite came back, boobs weren't sore... even stopped hating coffee...
Had our first scan today at 13 weeks and the baby is absolutely fine and moving around in there x

Saturday can't come quick enough, but at the same time it's a bit worrying because I think 'what if they give me bad news...'

@MmmAsparagus I just found out today same as you. Embryo died at 8wks I should have been 10 weeks tomorrow. On reflection my only symptom - sore boobs - did ease off after 7wks but that may not have been related. I guess we will never know. Here's a handhold - you must be in shock x
