I changed hospital and consequently midwives after my 16 week bloods. Although I spoke to my midwives a couple of times after the bloods, and requested they were forwarded to my new hospital, I don't think they ever were. Consequently I never formally got the results and have managed to get myself completely worked up about the HIV/etc test results and not having had any information. Is it likely that the midwives or my Dr would have contacted me if there were any problems with the results?

Yes, I'm sure they would have contacted you if there was anything remarkable to tell you about the blood results. Most hospitals, NHS anyway, won't contact you at all regarding them unless there is something wrong. Of course you are totally within your right to request the results even if you were not changing hospitals. I would first call your new hospital and confirm whether or not the blood work was ever forwarded to them and if they have not been, ask them to contact the previous hospital and then in addition call the previous hospital yourself. Don't stress, I'm sure your bloods are fine b/c they would have to tell you if they weren't.
