Glucose and protein in urine - no GD or high BP (so far)

I've been investigated a lot by L&D doctors in the last week due to some weird symptoms. Ended up in there again this morning and had all my observations done again. Although tests are coming back OK and baby is thriving in there - phew! - my urine tests are still throwing up weird abnormalities that nobody seems that worried about.

I am 27+3. I've had glucose in my urine since about 20 weeks, and this morning it reached a high of 500. I've had three finger prick tests and one random blood sample done in the last three weeks and all show my blood sugar level to be absolutely normal. They say that means it's not diabetes. MW says they don't need to send me for a GTT at this stage, but will keep doing regular blood tests in case I'm "on the cusp" (my next routine appt is at 31 weeks; I had my 28 week bloods early and they were all normal).

I'm also now, for the first time, showing protein too. But I had totally normal high blood pressure and have all along. It's been checked very regularly recently due to being kept a close eye on.

My urine has been sent away to test for infection (though my temperature is normal and I have none of the classic UTI symptoms at all), so I will find that out in the next couple of days.

But what else could it be? Could all this be caused by stress? I've had a tough week with my boss being an absolute prick (calling me while i'm on leave and yelling etc) and also lots of hospital tests which have naturally made me anxious - even though every single one except urine is coming up saying normal normal normal.

Has anyone else had glucose and protein together? And has anyone had this and it NOT go on to be either GD or pre-eclampsia, or both?

I can't wait to go off on maternity leave in six weeks - and to finally get this baby out!

My normal sugar tests were ok but I failed my OGTT (though these were done when not pregnant) I was told by my gyneo that OGTT is the best indicator for diabetes and if I were you I'd push for that, hope it all goes well x
