I didn't have sickness much but I had nausea a lot. That calmed down when I was about 12 months pregnant.

SashaSays · 06/05/2017 01:43

Oh gosh! 12 weeks lol not 12 months

I was like Sasha, no sickness but nausea til around 12 weeks.

If you are struggling with a lot of sickness, or not able to keep food/ water down and are worried, try the hyperemesis thread then go and see your GP who unless they are a misogynistic dinosaur, will have medications available to help

How bad have you got it op? Sickness varies massively from pregnancy to pregnancy. My first I had mild nausea from 6-12 weeks. With my second I got hyperemisis at 4 weeks, which is how I knew I was pregnant and that lasted until 20/22 weeks.
There is no normal but if you are struggling to cope Google pregnancy sickness support, get yourself to a gp and ask family to help you as much as possible.

Mine started at 8 weeks and at 18 it's still going (but not as bad). Unfortunately I think everyone has very different experiences- my mum wasn't even nauseous for any of her three pregnancies! Hope you feel better soon x

Thankyou all for your replies.they are all very helpful. I guess it is different for everyone. Thankyou for sharing your experiences. Hopefully by week 12 I will feel less anxious about it but I will certainly use google.thankyou. Hope you feel better soon "mammabubs".
