I was just wondering whether anyone knows about prepackaged ready to eat fish (salmon etc), it is cooked rather than smoked. I had some with a salad yesterday but then panicked afterwards. If I Google I can only find info about smoked salmon rather than ready to eat cooked salmon 😕 TIA.

Ready to eat salmon will be fine. Don't randomly google: stick to NHS guidelines for the U.K. & you won't go far wrong. Fish is really good to eat when pregnant as its great for brain development. Just stay away from large fish like swordfish, shark, marlin & no more than 2 portions of tuna a week.

Cooked salmon is absolutely fine, as is smoked salmon. And good for baby's brain development. You should limit your intake of tuna and other random fish that I can't imagine anyone eating like shark! And avoid raw shellfish.
