Fainting and dizziness

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and for the last few weeks I keep feeling dizzy, have fainted 4 times and come close to it a lot more. I've been to the MDAU and my blood pressure, blood sugar and urine was normal. I'm still being sick but only 1/2 times a day so I don't think I'm dehydrated.

Any ideas about what it could be or what I can do? It feels horrible and it's making me feel unsafe esp when I'm on the tube or out with my toddler.

I've been feeling like this too and my iron levels are very low, could you go and see your GP or midwife to ask if they'd re-do your bloods to check your iron levels?

Hope you feel better soon

Thanks. Iron levels were normal although on the low side so they've given me tablets.

Hi, I'm also 19 weeks and have felt exactly the same for the past week despite being on iron tablets as well. It's awful and I've been really struggling with work, and getting there and back on the tube. I've read that it is quite normal though, as baby is going through a growth spurt atm!

Not sure what to suggest as you have been to the docs already, but hopefully the iron tablets will start to kick in (for both of us) and things will improve. In the mean time, just rest when you need to. Easier said than done with a toddler I know, but still. Hope you're feeling better soon :)
