Hi, I've had this off and on through the last month, I'm now 17 weeks. Been assessed a few times, baby is fine but they can't say where the bleeding is coming from for sure. I'm so scared, I had a stillbirth last year and I'm worried about placental abruption or something else that might harm the baby (my loss was unexplained). Anyone else having similar? It's freaking me out. It's a really small amount, usually just when I wipe and seems to go for a few hours then stop. It's often happening after a bowel movement. Please help me stay sane!

Hi, sorry for your loss last year, that would worry anyone!

I had brown spotting for the first 3 months with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies, got early scans and all was fine, no explanation though. And more would come out after a bowel movement I assume because of the pushing. It could be cervical erosion or leftover implantation blood that is just taking a long time to clear out. Hopefully it will stop soon and you can relax. At least until the next worry pops up as the always do. x
