Stomach pain

I'm 27 weeks pregnant, woke up about three in the morning with a sore stomach, thought maybe I needed the toilet but that didn't help Sad managed to get back to sleep, but still having pain, it's not cramping, feels more like a stitch/having done a lot of exercise/trapped wind and is only at the one side, baby still very active and no bleeding or anything else (one foot has been swollen the past few days, but I've put that down to heat). do you think this is just pain from baby getting bigger and my insides stretching and adjusting? my first baby so I find it hard to differentiate between what's supposed to hurt and what's not and how much pain is too much Sad when I'm sitting down I'm not in pain but when standing/bending/stretching I can feel it!

Please ring midwife/ MAU and get checked out. It's not that hot yet for that to be causing swelling and pain is always something to check out.
Braxton hicks would tend to be more all over your bump

Sounds like round ligament pain but always good to get it checked if you're worried :) x

thank you! I phoned maternity triage, they said it's normal at this stage to be feeling aches and pains because all my ligaments will be stretching, asked about movements and whether I have any bleeding, but babies moving fine and no bleeding, I've not to hesitate to phone if I feel it gets worse Smile pregnancy is nothing but worry Sad

Sounds like ligament pain, I'm 35 weeks with no3 and have had it every day, feels like a stitch and like you're going to tear something if you move too fast. Hope that's reassuring! x
